resolutions on Mideast Egyptian Evangelical Church in California calls on Bush to carry out UN Security Council resolutions on the Mideast The Egyptian Evangelical Church in California addressed an urgent statement to US President George Bush calling on him to guarantee the implementation of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions. The Church statement said peace and security will not be established in the Middle East before the end of the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories. The statement called on President Bush to support the Arab peace initiative which gives Israel peace and natural relations in return for full Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank, Gaza and East Jerusalem. |
