Who we are We are the Christians of the Middle East.. from the land where Jesus was born, and the land where the first Church was established upon 'this rock'. We are the Christians of the Middle East.. who have lived as a light to the world in steadfastness and courage. But also we are just Christians.. who want to de-commercialize Christianity, de-politicize Christianity, and de-militarize Christianity. We are just Christians.. who want to bring back the message of Christ, one of Peace and Justice, to the world, because it is through our works that people will know us. The beginning is the letter.. but there is much more to come. Christians must speak out more strongly because we are 'the salt of the earth'. Join us now and make your voice heard.

The Christian Right in the United States has allied itself with Zionism to create the illusion that by supporting Israel, we are fullfilling God's prophecies. This is a lie. As Middle Eastern Christians, we have come to realize that Christianity has been 'hijacked' by the Christian Right for political ends and games. We have decided to create this site to 'reclaim' Christianity, to refute the misleading Biblical interpretations one by one, and to stress our position as anti-war and anti-Occupation and in support of our brethren in the Arab World. We want to stress the principles and values of Christianity: a Christianity that preaches peace and justice, not one that encourages hatred, intolerance, and injustice. |
